Behind Upstart

My documentary project is directly related to the Upstart programme as it is about the six members of the team and their ambitions for their futures and how they intend to achieve them. The documentary also serves as a sort of "behind-the-scenes" look at the production of a radio show from the beginning to the end.

Project Upstart

Upstart is a local, youth-run newspaper where children from schools around Grahamstown contribute their written work on issues that people their age are dealing with. Me and fellow fourth year student, Ross Alford, have been given the task of working with six members of the Upstart team and producing an hour long radio show for community station Rhodes Music Radio (RMR) as an extension of the newspaper they have been working on.
